I've heard the FEL-PROS are the ones to use unless you want to shell out the coin for copper.

Agreed. I have always used Fel Pros here, not just on the 6.5. Never had one fail.... yet. :hihi:
Fel Pros with ARP's on mine and no trouble from them. Make sure to use thread sealer on the block side of the ARP's to stop coolant leaks. Blue or red Locktight and torquing the studs down into the block worked for me on 2 engines. No, I doubt the red Locktight ones will ever come out...
