Not tryin to be rude but I have a hard time believing that a 6.5 took down a 5.3 my 99 5.3 was real fast it messed with mustangs but it had 4.10 gears. Maybe 5.3 with the 3.42 is possible but even they will do 50-60 mph in 1st gear if you want them to go. I could be wrong though.

I agree. I too have a hard time believing that. Our 5.3/3:73 combo would not ever be taken down by a 6.5. Not sure about the 4.8 though.

Why do people ever post in the kill forum? You know, it's never possible for whatever kill to happen. You know, there's never any variance at all in anything. Every 5.3 is lightning fast and every 6.5 is a slow POS...
