Took a little scrounging but found one. I know there’s more.

I got the dash that I removed from dad’s 98 C2500 cleaned up and painted with SEM paint so it’s ready to put in the Tahoe.

I have next week off from work and have big plans. I hope to fix the rocker and quarter panel rust, replace the dash, console and front seats and replace the front suspension and steering. I’m also going to install wiring and gauges for the upcoming mechanical conversion while the dash is out. I’m worried about getting all of that done in a week (especially without Chip Foose and his crew to help), but I’m gonna give it my best.

I got the seats from dad’s truck cleaned up so they’re ready to install, too.

And now all the parts going on or in the Tahoe next week are staged. It’s gonna be a busy week.

And so it begins. Today was the first day of working on the truck. Teardown is almost complete - I started removing the rear fender flares and realized that I will need to remove the rear interior panels to reach all of the nuts, so that is where I’ll start tomorrow morning. My goal is for this to be done in a week…..it’s gonna be a busy week.

ps. I was sure thankful for all of the anti-seize that @jrsavoie had put on the fender bolts - the fenders came off easily, which had made me nervous since I knew the fenders had some rust in the inner structure.
