Acronyms "What you talking about"

In one of MGW's posts she said she cleaned her VC's... I looked at the list as I didn't know what it meant, and it's not there!!!

Hmmm? Doc, that just wouldn't follow suit with VW's SDI (suction direct injected). Certainly the naturally aspirated engine wasn't intercooled? And here I am without a Jetta in my garage. I am almost certain I read that in one of the manuals with either my '98 or the '02 I used to have. Can you even search the trademark registration? I don't recall ever seeing a TDI that wasn't intercooled, but I'd bet you an ice cold Budweiser (Bud Diesel as we call 'em) that TDI is a VW registered trademark for Turbo Direct Injected. If I'm wrong, I guess the world will know "that you don't mess with the Turbine Doc!" LOL
