There is one other possibility here with your air. First, is the fan pulling good airflow through the condenser? If so then there is a chance that somehow your truck got the old style A/C lines on it and it has an orifice tube in another location. In 88-89 they put the orifice tube in the hard line that runs from the condenser to the evaporator. It wasl ocated in a joint directly behind the high side pressure fitting on the passenger side fenderwell. Something just doesn't add up with yours though. If your high side is around 200, your low side should be around 40 or so, if it is close, you should have some cold A/C pipes somewhere. If you could post up a few pics of your system so we can see if maybe you have an old style A/C system on it.
