If it's the same part number and the same warranty, I'd go cheapI see prices form $53.00 to $160.00. Where should I buy this from? Thanx
Make sure they are an AC Delco AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. There is a ton of chinese knock off stuff and holding fake next to the real ones you can’t tell a difference in the part or the packaging.
The best version of the stock style pump is AC Delco EP158. It will barely hit specs and usually falls under within a year (10,000 miles).
There are better pumps for it.
The injection pump (ip) manufacturer says 8-14psi. It can operate with less but you start loosing efficiency and having problems with less. By time you get to 0psi the engine will run, but it is doing damage to the ip. Ive seen brand new ip fail in 10,000 miles.
Getting a higher quality Lift Pump (LP) becomes the chase every one has to decide how nice is nice enough and how much investment is worth it. It isn’t hard to spend a few hundred for a good one. Then it starts the “while you’re at it”.
Clear ip return line.
Fuel pressure gauge tapped in metal at the ip inlet. These two items pay for themselves in parts savings alone. The labor time saved when issues occur is another strong reason.
