88-98 Chevy frame

Looking to get some info. Want to know if a rear bumper from a 99 model Chevy will bolt up to an 88-98 Chevy. Looking to see if the frame is the same width or close to each other
 
99 was the change over year from gmt400 to gmt800 body styles and both bodies could be bought that year.

If the body style is the same- then yes. But there were some bumper bracket changes so you might need the brackets also. If it is the newer style like went into the 2000 years- I don’t think it will work without some fabrication.

Body components from the 88 to 99 years fits on My 2000 K3500 CC.
Headlamps on Mine is from an 88 1500 series and the tail gate is from a 94.
