Hi, I am currently having the 4L80e transmission from my truck rebuilt. We have discovered a plug in the case that looks not original. (See attached photo) The transmission is a later model (post 1997). The plug appears to be where a filter for the pwm TCC solenoid should be. As this is a replacement case for the transmission, I really need to know what to do about this plug. Does anyone have any idea why someone would plug this hole, and what should I do about it?
thanks cheers Tony
