I have a 2005 Sierra 3500 DRW that I am buying the EFi LIVE unit for .. I dont have the scan tool as of yet so I dont know what operating system I have but it is the LLY motor.. I have found a few town tunes and am not sure of the credibility of the files but I figured I would post a new thread and some of you (that have been at the whole EFi LIVE game for a while, and have it all figured out) can help a guy out.....

I am most interested in having a MILEAGE tune that can bring my MPGS from 12.5 (with no trailer, mixed driving) up to something respectable, along with DELETING the whole EGR system . I have installed a blocker plate but am now throwing codes left and right... I have seen alot of great features in the tow tunes such as haveing the turbo brake (would be awesome)... but I am more interested in a great TOW TUNE , and A MILEAGE TUNE at this point, I am not a big fan of the HOT tunes just do to past experience with blowing turbos, intercoolers, egr cooler, oil coolers, head gasket ( all in a ford) and transmissions X2 (in a Dodge) so im trying to stay on the plus side with this d-max,
I bouhgt the truck used and it has some goodies on it such as AFE mouth aftermarket intercooler, AFE intake, 5" exhaust with no cat, egr block plate, I have the EDGE JUICE WITH ATTITUDE on it but that will go once I get the EFi LIVE .... any feedback and help with some TUNES you have made would be much appreciated ..thanks

Usually whoever you buy the Unit from will provide you with tunes. Have you asked?

efi live

Yes I will be getting the efi live from Idaho rob but I'm setting up a buddy with his tunes for a 2009 lmm motor with the whole dpf delete and 5 tunes but I figured I could save $ 150.00 from having him do tunes for me and refer to this site to set me in the right direction .. I have seen a few of your tunes on this site ??? would be much appreciated

Maybe you could get 2 tunes for yourself and 3 for your buddy? Or maybe they won't split them, I'm not sure.

I've never run an LLY tune so I haven't accumulated any good ones. I do have a few LBZ tunes that a few of my online friends have made and shared with me. Maybe take a look at few of the tunes I put up and compare between the two. I would help but I'm no tuner! Sorry..

I would look up killerbee performance. At least look at his site as he has lots of info on the LLY. His tunes are something else by adding a "waste gate function" into the tune to keep turbo heating down on long pulls. I know the guy personally.

He is the LAST person i would send anybody to for tunes. Rob is #1 for tunes for your V2. I've reworked a milage tune I got from DP and posted in the library here. When you get the V2 download your stock tune and post it and I will be glad to help you and adapt it for you to your OS and try it out. I'll need to know the details on the truck and what your wanting from it, and some patience as i tend to be slow sometimes in writing tunes out as I do them in my spare time.
