Sorry it's been a while. First baby was born back in July so life's been a bit busy since then. Made our trip out to TN and back (not without issue). I've been having a problem with the high pressure power steering line coming lose at the back of the pump and destroying the o ring, then pumping out all the fluid in about 10 seconds worth of time. This has happened 3 times now (most recently in TN -- thankfully we made it out there fine). I didn't have access to a shop/garage, so I paid a shop to replace both high pressure lines and the return line as well as a new PSC pump. All seems to have been fine since then.

Not sure if the cat filter was causing the noise issue with the fass pump, but currently have both fass water separator and fuel filters and sounds smooth again. I'll stick with their filters for now and keep an eye on it.

This last weekend I did some maintenance and still tracking down a steering issue where its still got a weird almost flat spot feel in the steering that was most noticeable in turns and perfectly straight highways. kinda felt like it was constantly needing correction left and right. keep in mind Im super sensitive to imperfections like this. so it was bothering me -- most other people probably wouldn't think twice about it. I was assuming either a damaged pitman/idler or tie rod end from when I was hanging on the wheel to get it turned into the driveway the second time it puked all the fluid out. or I did some internal damage to the pic box. either way I made the decision to change all the steering joints.

I drained and refilled Front and Rear differentials, Transfer Case, Engine oil and filter, Transmission fluid and external spin on filter.
For the steering, I replaced the PSC steering box with another, same Bigbore XD box, Kryptonite death grip Pitman, idler and idler pivot assemblies. New PPE OE style center link and new Kryptonite Tie Rod ends. I got the steering close to what it was still doesn't feel perfect, but I've got an appointment to get it aligned this Thursday so hopefully that will clear that up.
Also need to drain and refill coolant as it's been about 5 years.

And bbq'd them on the beach. can't get much fresher than that.

Thats all for now. I'll update after alignment and coolant change.
Then we've got some trips lined up (hence why time to do maintenance now):
Oregon in a couple weeks, then a snow wheeling trip towing the jeep up to the sierras.
Then gotta make it out to NM to visit sister in-law that recently had a baby.
And finally to Idaho to visit some friends the just moved out there.
That gets us to this summer. Then we'll see what happens from there.
