Depends on how you look at it. My office is downstairs.....so my commute to that is 30 feet-ish. However I'm a friggen cop with a take home patrol vehicle, so I decided to pick the last choice in the options :D

working in the office at home. zero miles.
working in the shop at dad's. 5 miles.
visiting crop insurance customers. up to 150 miles.

I put a couple miles on my truck driving from home -> school -> work -> home.

Last summer was the same thing since I didn't leave Pullman.
Summer 2007 I put over 100 miles a day on my truck.
Summer 2006 I commuted about 200 miles a day on my Tahoe. With work and personal driving I think I added almost 30k to it that summer.

5 miles one way. Roughly 10 minutes to get there in the morning, and 25+ on the way back.... Atleast the truck gets somewhat warm during winter

I'm coming up on 6K for this year already....that's just my truck, I've put 1200 on the olds and 1400 on the wife's truck...
