    How to make a late model 1996 4l80e work with a 1992 ecm and engine?

    I recently purchased a 1992 k2500 with the 454 and 4l80e. It appears that the previous owner swapped a 4l80e from 1996 into it. It keeps going into limp mode and I think its bc the PROM isnt correct. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on how to make this set up work properly?

    LMM 1994 4l80e 4x4 tranny

    Freshly built 1994 4l80e 4x4 transmission and billet converter. Tranny was built at Browns transmission in Billings Mt. All of the best parts, built to take 550+hp. Transmission has 1300 miles on it. Worked flawlessly. Truck was t-boned and I parted it out. $2000 or offer.
