I picked up a 85 K10 with the 6.2 and 700r4. Pretty happy with it. The trans is shot, so once I sell my dodge I'll get it rebuilt and do a few other things. It's good to be back in a detroit and it's good to be back here.

Well i'm going on past 300,000 miles and I know there can't be much more life left in it. My 6.5 still runs great and is averaging 18ish mpg, but i'd still like to have a good plan. I'm trying to figure out the best and most economical option for it. I've got the 93 model 6.2 with 130,000...

In the past 3 months that i've owned my 6.5 it's hiccuped on me 3 times. It revs up on its own to about 1500 rpm for just a split second. Twice was when I was coming to a stop and I was on the brakes not the gas. Once was today when I put it in reverse and was letting off the brake and again...
