So I am in some serious need of cleaning the ground for my fuel tank sending unit.. The fuel gauge is bouncing around like crazy and sometimes going all the way around. Sending unit is new, truck was sitting for a while, figured would give it a try to clean the ground and see if that does it...
ahh great guys thank you! I will bring it to my work (family owned) shop and see what kind of damnage i can do... I figured I would try and sand it down some smooth it out or just use the etching primer? and find the black wheel paint to put on it..

well then it will be mounted back to the IP tomorrow night i geuss, i didn't know you could change a ground like that... new to me.. the truck still runs fine (knock on wood)
