in my truck when on the cruise control you can feel like the truck is hitting bumps or 'surging' (if you want to call it that) when going downhill. my dads 8.1 truck does this too, but its slightly more noticeable on the 6.5. I'm not to worried about it, just wondering what causes it.

What is the difference between the 40 dollar switch I have seen people using on their allisons (4l80e switch) and the actual allison switch that costs 3 times that? Why do they have 2 different switches?
