The switch in the cab is a simple bat type control switch that controls the main switching unit under the truck that's mounted to the frame.
The single stock fuel gauge reads either tank (depending on with way you throw the switch) so there's no guessing how much fuel is left in either tank...
Sorry guys I haven't gotten back to this thread in a while, I'll try to answer your questions.

Thanks, I'll post a link below on the installation.

Thanks bud.

Yes I can easily remove the hitch if I have to by pulling 4 pins.

I just installed this yesterday, I had it custom made because I have a Retrax roll top cover on my truck. Part of the tank fits under the Retrax canister. The fuel tank holds appx 60 gal. This should give me a lot longer towing range between fuel stops while towing my RV.
The best I've ever gotten was 13.8 MPG (this was when the stock exhaust was still on the truck) and that was on a 100 mile trip that was 95% highway driving. I haven't really had time to do a fair fuel consumption comparison since I removed the stock exhaust with the turbo back system. When...
If you can purchase a case of 6 Wix fuel filters for $23.00 you might want to purchase a whole warehouse full, that's less than $4.00 a piece. It would be an easy way for you to resell them at a higher price, make some extra cash at a nice profit.
Nope I haven't heard about the new larger tank sizes but this does up the anty a bit more in their favor for me as I'm looking to upgrade my tank size.
GM Extended/ Crew cab long bed -61 gal. -34 stock
I don't know about a better finish. The Silverline I installed is 409 SS, I would think 409 SS is 409 SS no matter who or where you purchased it from. The 304 SS is a much better finish but way more expensive. My exhaust did come with the 304 SS tips which adds a nice finishing touch.
I purchased a Superflow MV50, it's hard to beat for the price. Plus it comes with heavy duty alligator clips that clip directly to the battery posts and not some cheesy cig adapter...:)
Hey jim it's good to hear that you finally got your truck. The tip looks nice you did a great job with it. Last Friday my stock exhaust fell off my truck, no clue what happened to it, bad factory hangers I guess...:).
I was bored, so I've included a video of the hissing sound the exhaust makes before being fixed using EFILive.

I wanted to add that the hisssing sound from the VVT turbo at idle isn't nearly as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. I've also read that duals from some companies aren't recommend if you have a 5th wheel hitch installed. I have a 16K Reese 5th wheel hitch and it caused no issues with...
My Silverline 409 SS dual exhaust came in today and I was able to install it this afternoon. It went on pretty straight forward, but thank goodness for a lift, I wouldn't want to do this one on the ground. The install instructions pretty much suck and they leave a lot to be desired.
