Thanks guys, actually Steel soldiers site says to use this relay. but having doubts with the results I am seeing.

I replaced a non working glow plug relay in my dad's CUCV with part # GRP109. The new unit works fine except that we noticed after the dash light cycles off the relay stays on for another 8-9 seconds. This is after the initial 9-10 seconds. I am worried the glow plugs will burn out from staying...

The only way to know for sure is measure the impeller size, should be 4-1/4 dia.

Thanks, Ace, yea I have been keeping up with the posts on both sites lately or I would of not known the one they were selling me was not a HO. I took my plate with me and double checked, everything looks good.

Thanks everyone, I found one at O'Rielly's, same part # as napa(58-532)($54) ,but is the HO. Be carefull what they try to sell you out there.

Like I said, the pumps for the 1998 they are selling are the same as the stock pump, 3-7/8 dia. impeller, I cannot find a pump with a bigger impeller.

I know there are half a dozen threads on this, but I have not seen this problem. I cannot find a waterpump that is "HIGH OUTPUT" I have ordered 2 now from NAPA, and Advanced Auto Parts sells the same one, part #58-532(this is a reman). They are for a 1998, but they are identical to the stock...

Warpspeed made mine 2" longer and no extra cost. Just tell them the length you need from stock.

Chicken is correct, got the ses light very quick upon startup without vac going to the egr solenoid. Buddy, let me know how much you want for a F chip. Thanks Steve

I get a ses light if the egr solenoid loses it's vacuum source, I guess that answers my question unless someone knows how to get passed that. Thanks Steve

my vac. pump is starting to make some noise. Am I correct that I cannot remove it without setting codes ? (I would add a TM at the same time) (egr is blocked already) no money for chip at this time. Thanks

7.3 non turbo thats gettting a skim of oil in the water overflow. Where do I start ? no other problems. Thanks

The battery's test good. Alternator good. Tester show normal draw. I am going to unhook the battery's tonite and let it set for a couple days and rehook and see what I got.

My batteries will not hold a charge. After sitting for a few days it barely cranks. Battery's are less than 2 years old. any thoughts ?
