    7004R end case removable?

    Picked up a great gearbox which needs the splined out put shaft cleaning, can the end case be removed with out a complete strip down? (I'm promised the box is 100% good, & if the pan is very clean I don't won't to strip it down)

    6.2 engine, sump off & its looking good!

    Hi, I'm new to this forum!, I'm in the UK and have at last picked up a 6.2 engine for decent money. Having removed the sump I'm very pleased not to see any cracks, I'm sure the will be some small cracks when its pulled right down, but so far the engine looks ok to rebuild. Quite fancy fitting...
