Around here we have to have a base or footer under the sonotubes. We use a lot of the big foot brand ones. Need the base for both down pressure and frost heave. I've seen water wells break the pit less from the well case being lifted by the Frost
May not be the same down there as it is here but there's 2 different types of PT ones is called ground contact the other is buryable. Most of the bigger items use the buryable
My experience was the opposite. I put tbi on my 428cj got 13 mpg on the hwy. Started good, great throttle response. Then the TBI system started acting up and I finally carbed it.My mpg dropped to 9
My OEM sealed ones have 300k on them. There's a drive line shop here that won't use greaseable. I don't know what's changed over the years but I'm seeing much better results with sealed.
