thanks guys i had to install terminal and fuse it was in the harness as you said,probably built on a monday,i finaly had a chance to tow my new fifth wheel its not that heavy but it still weighs 8500 dry and wow what a pleasure to tow with compared to my old 6.t thanks guys

does anyone know what fuse powers the live feed for the trailer plug i must be blind i cannot seem to find the fuse that controls this feed wire to supply the fifth wheel when youre plugged in to the truck thanks mike

i also have the same problem but i found that if you keep a box of crakers and a brick of cheese in youre truck it all sounds better

yes your corect they used a wick it looked like the candy cigarette but out of material but in the rental ind. you get a lot of yahous that claim they know everything,but after blowing the head off the engine and they got the repair bill they were more careful

i have never tried this i always used the proper heads, the ones without head gaskets were shimed bellow the jug the same procedure is used but shims at bottom of jugs were exchange for proper clearance and i always used valve lapping compound to make sure the head seals properly on the cylindre...

gasket thickness i have done several of these engines as they are very common in construction equipment,the head shimes come in different thicknesses but don't worry just use a piece of solder it will work no problems i would not remove cylindre,just check head clearence,good luck

i was told by the transmission shop that the flow is different i assumed it was the same but it does make a difference

where we are the temp has been between -30 to -40c and yes they do act funny in cold weather,i find it much better if you put your truck in neutral when your leaving it warm up ,it does make a big difference try it youll see it shifts way better
