Finally started pulling my engine out of my parts truck. I will be keeping it tbi, the engine is out of an 89 k1500. I need to get a clutch and flywheel, what pilot bearing is suggested? The in put shaft is pretty clean, only a small groove.

I didn't end up doing the cam. I'm just dropping in a used 350 now that I have a cammed 454 to pull trailers.

The lml's will for sure run once they are opened up.

I have only tried the cruise at 55-70. It revs 3-500 rpm once I hit the cruise button.

I went 50k on Amsoil with dual bypass testing it every 5k just to see how far I could push it. From that experience I had more air filter sealing issues than oil issues lol. I'll pm you for more info

I used to run 100% amsoil in everything, price isn't the issue. I didn't see where it said a recommended oci. If it can run 6k or more then I'm good with it.
