I have been using the FPPF Lubricity Plus Fuel Power. Half a bottle per tank seems to work well. I could use less bottle says it treats up to 250 gallons.
Well got it done yesterday...put a magnet in the pump and a filter in line seems fine (for now)......Glad I noticed I needed a new balancer pully while I had everything off also! AZ manager did refund all my money and gave me the pump. I agree seems like no matter where you get parts from they...
My power steering pump bit the dust about 3 weeks ago. Replaced it and the new one it lasted about a week before making a groaning grinding sound. Well I replaced that one and the 2nd one didn't make it two days before taking a crap! The pump came from Autozone so the manager felt bad and is...
Just my 2 cents......I tried every possible combo when my FFM started leaking with no luck. If you go onto peninsular diesels website you can get the whole thing filter, sensor, and heater included for about 95.00 shipped to your home and solve any problem with leaking plus have a brand new one...
OK moved it back over on the frame rail, still gets warm but I think it was a little to close to the tranny/tranfercase and getting heat from it. This little pump seems to be doing alot better than stock. We will see how long it last for 53 bucks! It also comes in a 24 volt app. as well.
Just put an Airtex E8153 on mine and pretty happy with it over stock. It is listed at max 14psi plus 35 gph universal diesel application. Found it after some research for around $53.00. Don't know how it would match up to the FRB 5. Wonder if the flow rate would match up or matter?
Thats what I was wondering figured the fuel would be hot after a long drive. I put a stock LP Airtex E3309 on but after alot of searching I took it off and put an Airtex E8153 (diesel application) more constant PSI. I just had never seen how hot one was either until today, I was just checking...
I changed out my lift pump with a higher psi one I found. I had to find another place to mount it because it was longer so I used the bolt under the cab coming through that holds the drivers seat down to mount Lp on. (didn't want to cut any of the fuel lines till I got the bugs worked out) Took...
Could they have figured this out before I just ordered a new one!!! WTF! My old one lasted 1yr and 3 months I called the Dipaco number someone posted on here and they acted like they could have gave a rats azz less about the PMD or my problems with it.
Buddy didn't you mention something...
As far as the low coolant code if the light is on the dash that says "low coolant" its the sensor plugged into the reservoir tank. If its an actual code then it probably is the CTS or the gauge sensor like Brooklyn said and if you are changing the t-stats get the ones Brooklyn is talking about...
Welcome to TTS! Nice looking Burb. The code is an over/under-boost code, too much or too little boost for a length of time basically. I would try to clear it to see if it comes on again before you spend any money on anything. Mine throws that code from time to time because of my turbo master.
I think they are all POS! Mine D-Tech just bit the dust today. It was only 1 yr and 3 months old! Call Dipaco and they could have givin a rats azz less about it! I really believe that's why you only get a year warranty with these pmd. Seems better off to order some used ones and change them out...
I ended up ordered the whole D-max fan and clutch kit. Works great and well worth not having to try to fit parts together. I had to trim the inside lip of the top radiator shroud and a little off the bottom top sides. I have noticed a huge difference in cooling.
Hey Leroy are these going inline with the lift pump or replacements? Any mounting hardware needed? May have to get one of those bad boys when you get some, I will watch this tread. By the way wheels are loaded!
