My new Car carrier motorcycle hauler

I'm a big Newbie to brake controllers but being my first real experience with this trip it worked great! My personal preference is to have the trailer led the braking and with the boost settings it's very easy to accomplish although there is a slight delay. This could be because I didn't...

Blackstone Oil report - Anti Freeze!!! Help!

I agree I would IF it was my truck flush the coolant and do a oil change and retest again. I'm going on memory here but I recall long ago back in the Diesel Place days when individuals were doing oil analysis a certain amount of coolant was a false positive (?) or acceptable. Something to do...

    My baby is sick

I didn't mean you for say Pepp but just in general that it's far fetched IMO that a fastener would cause by itself a catastrophic failure to internal parts. IMO it's a combination of all the above I mentioned. The average Joe running a 500 or less RWHP tune with stock injectors,turbo,CP3 etc...

    My baby is sick

I haven't seen that thread but it would be hard for me to believe that ANY headstud torqued in the proper sequence and correct torque specification could cause a cylinder wall to deform. Stock or aftermarket headstuds are just a fastener. The use of aftermarket headstuds (stronger) is to...

Nice Pepp, nice. As far as towing my Bike this trailer was bought more for my car than anything but it does open up Bike trips for 'our' group of Friends. There is a few things that cause me in general to tow my bike on weekend week excursions. 1) My bike isn't set up for touring...

My new Car carrier motorcycle hauler

Roughly 5,700 LBS. The car I'll be hauling will be roughly 3,000. So 10,000 GVW worked well for me. Yes the pictures are deceiving. Like any trailer I'll have about 16" to squeeze out of the car. Gotta stay slim or get a winch. I measured my car very well before hand.

Your right but American Express does! :biggrin5: I stirred up a WHOLE bees wax once with a Ebay/Paypal purchase once. I bought a $750 dollar plus $75 dollar CRATING shipping fee Rockwell Machine from a private seller. It was a extremely heavy piece. The guy shipped it FedX in a PLASTIC bag...

Can we talk Electric Brake controllers?

Your absolutely right about placement after thinking about it. Sure wouldn't want to have start opening compartments when a panic stop is needed. So IF I can get it in the cassette player spot ,it'll go there if not I guess near the e-brake release will have to do. ------------------------...
