    Casting # & Date code

    Got the date's on the block and heads answered in my post in the 6.2 section, Block is 6.2l cast June 01, 1982, Heads also 6.2 diesel cast May 25, 1988. I've read these where the worst castings is this correct????

    IP & injector ?

    Cool thanx Dennis. So am I reading this right! the IP dictates how much fuel is injected not the injector?

    Oil pump ?

    To add to first post. Is it so you don't suck the pan dry at higher RPM's with the stock pan?? Or is there some kind of oiling issue with these motors?? Also what about running a low pressure/high volume pump??? I'm asking because I'm running ( already in the truck from before) -10 oil line...

    IP & injector ?

    Is there a difference between the 6.2 & 6.5TD IP flow wise?? Same question with the injectors? What is the difference between the 6.2,6.5 & marine injectors, flow wise?? What injectors would you guys recommend I run in my 6.2 with the A-Team or does it not matter?

    Oil pump ?

    I'm starting to build my motor see post in 6.2 section. Anyway I have seen a couple post her and on DP that say not to use a high volume /high pressure oil pump. Why is this???

    I'd try the Folwmaster 70 series!! I run them on the burban with the 408 sounded good and interior levels where almost nill. Don't know if they make a 4" ?? pretty sure they make a 3.5
