that may be what i need to do. when i took out the allen head on the back of the pump i measured the distance it was sticking out but maybe i didnt get it right? i will check it tomorrow and see if that helps. thanks
i adjusted it in the hole through the top, there was a small spring in the hole that i had to take out. its only turned a little over an 1/8th of a turn
Any one here running a 92-93 6.5TD with a turned up mechanical injection pump? If so, did it affect your idol at all? I turned mine up a bit more earlier and its idoling at 1000 rpm instead of its usual 800
i dont know much about bio fuel, but having a mechanical injection pump i can tell you that its picky on fuel quality. I have gotten diesel at small gas stations and the truck sputtered and ran like crap, but it does fine when i use fuel from bigger stations. i dont know if the smaller ones had...
