WARNING: Splayed Main Caps Kit.
The "splayed main caps" are another sales gimmick...
Ok guys, I was going to check the tranny fluid today and whent I pulled the dipstick out part of the tube came with it. I was curious if anybody knew a parts number for a new tube? It's a 94 K3500 with a 4L80E. It wasn't broken 5,xxx miles ago when I changed my oil, so I'm not worried to bad. I...
I'd love to do that man. I actually was born and raised in Louisiana, but my wife is from here so I moved. I'd love to see what one is actually supposed to run like for sure!
I have a set in my truck from accurate diesel. They all say made in canada on them, and so far I've not had any problems with them at all. I don't have but about 5,000 miles on them so far
I have a 94, so that would be perfect. I guess I'll start searchig ebay and see if I can't find one for sale. If I can't find one, which tune do ya'll suggest?
Yea, that's the one I've seen. I just can't make it out very well, if someone could just explain how it's laid out in the picture I think I could get it. I'm more of a picture AND a description kinda guy
Does anyone have a good drawing of how to build a boost fooler? I've found one on the forum, but it doesn't go into very much detail about how to do it. Thanks for all the help
Ok guys, quick question. I know I need a 3 bar map sensor to keep my truck from coding while running a TM. My question is, does anyone have a parts number for one? Or is it the same as the turbo boost sensor? Thanks guys
Ok, so all I need to do is get a 3 bar map sensor with a new plug and cut the old one off and wire the new one in it's place? Does the stock one have 3 wires going into the harness like the 3 bar one will? Or will I need to figure out how to wire the new one up so that it'll work?
I though you needed to check the timing after you changed that one out? How involved is the resistor? I think that one sounds alittle easier to me then changing the map sensor out.
Well I'm not sure if it's the right connector or not. It has a sensor on top of the intake manifold that looks like a map sensor, but I'm not sure if it is or not.
