Just noticed he is online now. Shoot him a PM.
The ride does seem soft and smooth, but the truck will sort of float around. I am not sure exactly how to explain. Of course I haven't towed anything with them yet and I will see how that works out sometime next week.
They are quiet, but I notice that I seem to float a little on the road. I kind of expected it with the 285's but I have read that it will either go away or I will get used to it and not notice anymore.
Just put on a set of 285 75 16's on PYO's. I took off what came on the truck when I bought it which was some off brand 33 12.5 16.5. The stance is a little taller but the tire is not as wide, maybe an 1" or so narrower. Overall I like the look alot more and the other tires were worn so bad...
I know the thread was started about towing, but how was the fishing? I am originally from Natchez and have fished that lake for 15 years. The last time I was there they added a bunch of grass carp that ate all of the grass and the fish were not as easy to find. I heard that they were trying...

I don't know for sure but I don't think that it would plug it up, unless it was about plugged up anyway. I guess if your truck burns alot of oil it might be pushing it. I don't really know though.
My brother in law came into town today and his 04 Ford F150 with the 4.6 is throwing a po506 code. The truck will not idle high enough to stay running. He says it started this after he unhooked the battery for a couple of hours one day. The dealership told him they did not know what the...

I know that the market for diesels is down right now, but does this seem like a good deal or not? I am wanting to get another diesel, but I am...
I bet they were expecting it. These guys are businessmen and since they have bought other auto forums in the past I am sure they have encountered this before. Probably why they are not very active over there now. I "think" they are going to let the smoke clear and before too long the people...
I have not put it in the tank either. I take the brake booster line loose and let it suck it out of a cup until it kills the engine. Let it sit for about 20 min and then run it like a scalded dog. It will blow so much smoke that your neighbors will call the FD, for about 2 miles and then...
