:D hih...yes... we have here small "club of four K's" ... kojo, kane, kuutio and kempsu4x4. We all drive 94/95 Suburbans and of course with kojo's chips.
Each of us have a personal mods included :grouphug:
I have kojo's chip. For latest version, we used 4 hours together on the road for testing and creating/adjusting fuel table etc. and I'm extremely satisfied.
I prefer bump, engine response feels more sensitive. Also when you do bump, you need to adjust pump mechanically more advance (~1mm) cause tdc offset will be different when tdc learn is done (like -1.5 => -0.5).
With tdscan tech it's easy to play :smile5:
Yep, it's been running nice today. Adjusted offset to -1.85.
Thought also groundings, especially PCM. But seems that it was optical sensor fault.

The normal diesel available (summer quality, -15C), Shell, Esso, Statoil, Nesteoil... quality in Finland is excellent.

Problem solved (I hope :smile5: )
After standing few hours, I fired it up and it ran like crap...
Got code 18, so I took optical sensor cable off. It run backup fuel nice (well, nice as it is when backup). Called to a friend for used opt.sensor, got one and it runs normal.
So, it is mystery...
Had a 150 mile trip today, was sh..t all the way.
Engine was acting like it's missing fuel above 50mph without SES turning on... ok, thought new walpro wire connection or something is bad.
Well, there came big uphill and I thought... now we go!! Full throttle up and bang... SES is on and...
I'm impressed! I made 44 Ohm and 10 Ohm selection and the tranny feels great. I want more rainy days (= wet roads) :driving:
93-95 is connected to C6 (red w/black stripe) and C11 (light blue w/white stripe)
Bought the sw 2 years ago and it's been great help. IP "Learn" function is the best, there's a lot 6.5td owners here who don't have any idea what/how IP is set correctly. Here are few diesel shops who service US trucks, IP learn cost easily 80€ (1€=1,35$), DTC read 50€
So, with the...
Tdscan shows +80 to +90 Celsius on highway/ hilly road.
Sensor is 95/85C (+95 turns fan on, 85 it goes off). I tested it by driving 20 miles highway 3000rpm (3rd locked) and the temp stayed + 81C (outside +24C) all the way. So, with "normal" highway driving... no need for fan(s) but when you...

Thanks!
Yes, there will be second 16" soon. I will set control as 1.fan trans.temp/AC and 2.fan engine temp.
Well, the cover will be there... I just like factory look so much...
I did 1000 miles test trip up to Lapland, it worked perfect. Of course if there's hauling etc. I need...
Just finished my installation. I moved radiator 2" back, replaced orig. fan with electric fan (16"). Cooler is 18"x12"x3" size. All tubes are 2.5".
IAT's drop + 45C, now it stays close to +40C (outside temp +25C).
It feels nicely more power in middle/high rpm. I have EM chip + all other good...

Most of the time it's been raining (Helsinki)... now we got snow a bit (and raining again)
Up North there's much more snow (Lapland, arctic circle), we are heading up there for christmas...
Here's few pics how I did it...

Thermal paste between and finally I coated around with silicon sealant so water etc. will not get between them.
Been there over year, works perfect.
Wastegate actuator is the guilty one. I replaced it (friend had a used one) and boost is back. It's not leaking, diaphragm must be stretched?!
There might be a need to change MAP (boost) sensor later. Boost reading has a bit "nervous" movement, I put fooler back and it did change it good way...
Good news! I did put all parts back and boost was like before. I "locked" wastegate good and hoblaa.... there's my lost boost back.
So, I did not test it right when I thought wastegate was closed.
Next is to find out if it's wastegate bell or vac pump faulty because vacuum is 26Hg" (idle...
