You got it....the dealer actually called right after I got the lines fixed and said they could replace the factory ones with the updated ones for $100 deductible. Read a few threads about the leaking lines. Has anybody (MikeL or other) made a repair kit for them? All I read about is people replacing them with the updated crimp. My dads truck just started leaking and it's been below 0 degrees here lately. What's the best/cheapest fix at this point? Thanks

THEFERMANATOR- you were right, battery. Thank you. I swapped one in from another truck and it runs good. I've never seen a battery act so wierd. One thing I noticed...every time I put it into park the rpms drop and it stumbles a little bit then they come back up to normal operating range...

Said he checked the main bearings and said they were good. Not sure how you could check them with out removing them like you said (probably not possible). He likes to sound like he knows everything. Not sure how good of a mechanic he is but he's not afraid to tackle a project.

Any ideas what those other parts could be? Maybe I could test them or check them? The battery shouldn't be dead or low. It will fire right up sometimes and others I've had it where it will stall and not start, 10 seconds later it fires right up like it has a full charge. It's gotta be something...

This work truck has been sitting for maybe 5 days went to start it up and the battery acted dead. Jump started it and drove around to charge it up but the rpms would dive if I let off the throttle. It stalled twice before I got it back to the shop. The first time it stalled it wouldn't start...

Not sure if this could be related or not but a friend of mine just bought a 90's Chevy with the 454. It has very low oil pressure when it's warmed up. He installed a new high flow oil pump and its still really low. He thinks his may be the cam bearing.

It's a Kiefer Industrial bumper pull trailer 7'x16' and he had a Exmark Lazer comercial mower on it.
