I suppose @ $10 how can I miss? My friend who's used it says part of the instructions is to disconnect the heater hoses, so it has a certain ability to block/clog stuff. I guess I'll be the guinea pig. Worst case? It'll keep leaking I suppose.
Story... I bot a used oil boiler, and the studs...
so why does the alignment tech want to get the kit? I re read your post 3 times... So if my knockouts are knocked out, wouldn't the kit have been installed already? I can't imagine the tech is that lost... And the bushings are on their way out, but it was still centered, so actually looked...
I won't quote Will, but I own several vehicles, my summer DD, '84 Sub, 6.2, Mrs is the HG Sub, '84 K5 w 6.2 plow truck, (put on 235 miles in 1 year), '93 Hyundai Excel spare beater, '62 Corvair Spyder turbo vert, '64 Corvair Monza vert in body shop, '93 Silverado 6.5 I hope to put a slide in...
I don't wanna diss Leroy, I only hear good things about him, but the Walbro is totally different, and requires a new mount, fittings, rubber hose. So I wonder if it's worth the effort??? Leroy sent me clear pix of his install, I'll see if I can post them here
I looked at my Sub today, and the washers are def oblong/offset. I wish I would have talked to the alignment tech, but they asked me to step out of the shop. Neither FLAP can get the kit, which makes me wonder what the deal is??? (I can get it online, just not sure if I need it)
My leak is tiny, and no ruff running... I have a friend w a 3400 Grand Am, 84 k, and he was losing Prestone pretty bad. It's always the intake manifold, and he threw in some Barrs leak, and problem solved. I even put my pressure tester on it, no leak at all! Not much pressure there of course, but...
I glanced at them, but my susp is Fluid Filmed and hard to see in there. Knock Outs? Pls explain...

I went for a wheel alignment today, and the shop amazingly didn't say I needed any front end parts. They did say I needed a caster camber kit. Amazing at 249k it's never been updated. anyways, they quoted $70 x 2 + $100 labor + the alignment. So I'll do the bolts myself, it's an easy job, but...
Pulling the heads is a very big job, and if a bottle of magic can fix it, that's the way I'll go. Plus if the heads are cracked, a common issue I've been told, there's the added expense
Title says it all... A good friend recommended K&W head gasket magic. I have a bottle of something from a truck I sold. Sub is the 'Weasel, a '95 6.5TD 4x4 3/4 ton w 250k. Recommendations?

I'm selling the Burb 'cause I bot it to drive across country and then re-sell to pay for the trip. I've done the same thing 4 times, and this was trip #2. sold 1st burb, a black '91 gas 4x4 1/2 ton, #2 is this one, #3 is Mrs's DD, a '95 6.5TD 4x4 3/4 ton, #4 was just back in November, so it will...
I'm glad Adirondackman joined up! He says he's my friend. I didn't know I had any friends!
I am considering air bags for my '93 Silverado 3/4 ton 4x4 ex cab 8' bed 6.5 Tdiesel. I went to an RV show yest, and really like the CampLite all aluminum truck slide in camper. But $20,000, so I'll...
This C clip is often re used, and it popped off and allowed the oil to spew out from my 94 Suburban. This happened 3.5 years ago just after returning from a 4400 mile trip from Phoenix via Florida. Anyhow, 3.5 years later, the engine is finally being changed, and I just need the C Clips, or do I...
I still think they're HIGHLY overrated! I also kinda' wonder about single leaf overload spring seen on many 3/4 and 1 ton pickups. 1 leaf? Really? Seems one would need 2 or 3 extras. I suppose GM or Ford or Chrysler engineers know the exact load carrying cap of any given leaf, be it a thick...
