It's amazing how Dave can modify overhead consoles into almost anything. Dave installed my long console in my 07 while I was in the bathroom.

Dropping the tank is not that hard, like others have said. I chose to take the bed off of my 97 6.5 because it had been well used and never cleaned before I got it.
I wish they didn't do away with the manual transmissions. It would have been nice to see more of them in the GM trucks. I've seen a few friends buy dodges due to the ability to get a manual.

I wanted something that would hang back a bit, be out of the way, and that were removable. And it was simple to build, it took about 2-3 hours... the measuring is what took the longest amount of time.
So I built these a while ago and just never got around to posting about them. I got tired of the mudflaps I had on the truck before, because they were screwed on to the fender and real close to the tire. I ended up ripping them off with my tire when I was at an offroad park.
