I agree....my personal truck is very fast on the highway. The work truck is untuned and fairly slow on the highway. Went neck and neck with a new f150.

Talked to a friend and he thought maybe I have a bad ground. The starter is only grounded by the mounting bolts. The truck and block of the motor is rusty. I tested ground in ohms and got a reading of -6.9 from frame to starter body. Went from - battery terminal to motor and got +8.1.
Have a 92 chevy 4x4 1500 reg cab sb, 5.7 with 5 speed manual. It will not turn over....no clicking or anything. The interior lights/radio/gauges work. I have checked / cleaned all connections at battery and starter. Pulled the starter, tested good....put a new one in anyway, no change. Old...
Mine does the surge really bad....especially on hills but my predator programmer is old and not updated so that may be part of it. I never use the cruise on hills, drives me nuts!
The owner had the truck towed to 2 different shops and they both told him that it was the ip. Either way the truck is a good deal. Thanks for the help!
After hearing some stuff about his tranny builds I would never use Eric. Really bummed me out since he is only a half hour from me. They are extremely hard to get a hold of and not very personal either from my experience.
