What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Aside from the ABS not working, the rear brakes are back to working properly.

Those rear bleeder valves are a pain. I need to bend an “S” into a long handle 8MM 6 point box wrench I have. Need to get the handle up and away from the backing plate. I did this grunt work while my grandson Jackson pumped and released the brake pedal to my command.

What'd you order?

I think I ended up using an open end after breaking the bleeder loose with a socket.

I ran a hose to th bottle of brake fluid
Metric offset wrenches.

In the way back machine- I couldn’t find wrenches to fit it well. The handle was wrong shape or head of the wrench too fat.

So I took a 6 pointed socket, cut off the end, and tack welded a piece of 1/4 steel rod to it. Then with the rod about 12” long, I heated & bent the rod into the shape I wanted the handle. It worked pretty good over the years.

Ya got lucky on the wheel cylinder. That could cause the end to tear out requiring replacement.

For me in AK Amazon is the same as temu. Except Amazon doesn't tell me if it's local or China. I think the seller gets a better shipping deal from China to here than a seller in the US
Normally for me on amazon aka "the jungle site" I won't order anything that doesn't show "Prime". showing prime says it's sitting in an amazon warehouse and your dealing directly with amazon for payment and shipping instead of the seller. reading in their policies, it's basically the same thing as ebay's buyer protection. you don't need a prime subscription for this.

Here is a couple of examples on the site. take note of the shipper / seller on the right side.

this one is not prime...

I need to check them out. always afraid to order from them.
I haven’t ordered anything costly like an engine block. But wrenches…hell all of that is hecho in China nowadays. I just ordered a pair of 6 ton jack stands for $44 shipped, no tax. Guy on FB market wanted $25 each for used 6 ton jack stands. I offered $20 and he said no, so Temu it was. Saved myself a 50 mile round trip drive.
