You have an excellent point about the china-mart. Do you remember what the group/size or name of the battery you bought? Although, I bought my two "Opti-craps" at advance auto parts under a commercial account. They may only want to do a swap for the bad to new. Not sure?

I load tested each individual battery, still not enough juice to spin the ole 6.2 good enough to fire her off.

I have checked all connections, alternator(new), starter is new (on second new one) still not starting.

yep, have a year left one, and 2yrs on the other. They have the mfg month and date stickers on the top of them.

The Odyssey batteries may be out of my self allowed spending budget, not sure on pricing. What types carry the +900 CCA?

Anyone know of a quality ball joint out there for an 1989 Chevy Silverado 1500 6.2 4wd? When I replace them I want them to last a while. They need to be heavy duty if possible and no junk. Thanks ahead of time.:thumbsup:
