    Leaky Diff

Ever since I installed a Mag-Hytec diff cover on my sub it's been leaking non stop. It leaks from the OE breather tube / breather assembly. I've tried to plug the OE breather hose and drilled and tapped a hole on top of the Mag-Hytec diff cover for me to install a spring loaded breater...

    Difference between DS-5288 and DS-5521

It did solve my problem. Last night I drove from Bowmanville back to Toronto (65km) all highway. When I got home I let it sat for 15 mins or so. Went back outside and she fired right up again. I'll keep both my toes and fingers crossed. Thanks, Matt

    Difference between DS-5288 and DS-5521

A year ago (July 2008) I had a new injector pump installed on my truck. According to the invoice I got they put in a DS-5521 pump. The truck's been having hot start issue ever since. I've put up w/it over the year and finally can't take it no more. Took it in again and had it replaced under...

    Upper control arm bushings

burn out as much as you can then stick a saw-zall blade in there and cut it length wise (the direction that the bolt runs in). Cut in 3 - 4 places. Then it just falls out. Don't cut too much, just cut enough to break the shell of the bushing. If you nick the arm a litttle don't worry, you'll...

    cold weather starting

Carry a propane torch. Cook the intake real good then go run in and start it. Also consider hooking up a relay/start button so your starter momentarly gets 24V when you hit the button. Learned from somewhere that is not how long but how fast you crank to start a diesel. If all else fails...

Coolant Temp Sender -> ECM Pin Out

I need the piin out that goes from the coolant temp sender (the one right by the T-stat) to the ECM. I am still having hot start issues after a new lift pump, injector pump, injectors, coolant temp sender, oil pressure switch, glow plugs, and manual glow over ride. There are no other things...
