Issue with GMT800 13" Rear Discs on GMT400

Here is a photo of the (my) rotor on the axle. Note the rotor is all the way back against the backing plate, and the protrusion of the hub through the center of the rotor. It is back flush against the Backing Plate and axle hub. Rear is from a 94 Z71. Here is a photo of the rotor...

Issue with GMT800 13" Rear Discs on GMT400

Ok, I've read the post where the guy had to grind his flanges but I think he was running the smaller discs. Do you have personal experience with this or did we read the same post?

Issue with GMT800 13" Rear Discs on GMT400

I finished up my Brakes yesterday morning on my 97 K1500 Suburban. I swapped in a 9.5" SF and used the disc package from a 2002 Suburban with the 13" rear discs. Hydroboost Conversion

So using the master cylinder alone w/o the proportioning valve or the Hydroboost Booster with the factory ABS is the best option?

    Hydroboost Conversion

I got the 4wheel disc brake proportioning valve from the 2005 Hydroboost Suburban, already plumbed to the master cylinder. I would think that it should work.

    Hydroboost Conversion

Hello all, longtime lurker making first post. Seems there is allot of wisdom here and I would like your opinion on something. I have an 1997 K1500 Suburban, it has a Superlift K270b 4"-6" lift, BFG 35" Tires. I just completed swapping in a 9.5" 14bolt SF rear with Dual Piston Disc Brakes from a...
