....the gsa tires were really good. totally sux they quit making them or they would still be my main tire.
when i had to use my vehicle exclusively i could run through a few sets of road tires in a year. since about 2015 i often have a shop truck that i generally live out of while in field...
i dont need a cap. the stock style is really wide but i think some of the truck units are even wider. my chassis is configured for a 95 g30 radiator. and it pretty much goes headlight to headlight in my ranger. but i have been thinking of reworking some things and a 27-30 in overall width...

thats why i went to a plastic tank and run the cat filter and high efficiency 4.3 oils as prefilters....that and i run blends most of the year.
the oem ffm is a pos from my experience...with away over priced undersized filter for a easy to contaminate situation when changed as well.

i have busted sector shafts on my little ford and my 1 tons, and seen it on many others.
alot of lifted chevies i work on have similar results one nicer truck(not one i worked with) was totalled after it rolled.
