NO, I wish he was, but he has moved on from wrenching as his main source of income, he's a landscaper now, owns his own business. I selfishly wish he was still in the "biz" , but I think he needed a break??

Well if you think it's a dust shield rubbing, if it sounds like a dust shield rubbing, it probably is a dust shield rubbing ! :hammer: I did just about everything else a person could do, but I didn't tweak the shield that was closest to the origin of the noise.. So I roll into my mechanics...
Thanks Mike, good to be back around these parts, been too long ! Yeah I pulled both front wheels, nothing to see out of the ordinary..I did notice a push pin missing at the middle bottom , doesn't come anywhere close to hitting there, especially during a right turn... I'm really really lost on...
2007 Classic, 4x4 running 265's. Noticed a rubbing noise (like something rubbing against the brake dust shield) when making a right turn only. I checked the front end, wheel bearings are tight, ball joints seem ok, brakes are good and functioning properly and dust shield isn't tweaked or bent...
I was close, but my pudgy little body and my stumpy arms would have proven to be my downfall. Plus it was well worth having Joe do it, just because we got to shoot the bull for a good long time ! :cornut:

Blower control modules are not on manual slide hvac systems, so I need to do the harness and resistor again! Although not terrible it does irk me that I have to do this AGAIN and again in another few years.
