Hey all,
I have 2 engines over here.
1 I know has a cracked #8.
The other came in on a truck that I'm assuming its in rough shape. Someone transplanted a Truck configured 6.5 into an H1 I bought. since it won't package this way in the engine compartment, there solution was to remove the...

I have the heath filter installed after the factory FFM -
The Fass unit i am using is just a pump - Used as a replacement pump on a dodge cummins application.

Hey all,
I recently got my p400 installed, and in doing so have realized my factory FFM (fuel filter) / heater assembly has a leak.
From what i can tell it is an O Ring that has gone bad.
However, I'm upgrading my lift pump to a FASS unit and would like to benefit from its upgraded...

Where is this port...

So I've done some researching into bypass oil systems and have developed a parts list to piece my own, as well as settled on an aftermarket kit if i go that route.
However, I'm still left with two questions before pulling the trigger.
1. which oil ports on the 6.5 are supply /...
I was able to find about a .007 difference between the timing covers themselves. I massaged the tab a little and gave it a few more tries but wasn't ever able to get it to fit.
After confirming the tab was only for DB2, i removed the tab. I have pictures of how i measured, etc. but my camera...
Its a ds4 - probably should have mentioned that.
pump looks identical to previous true stanadyne pump that came on the truck, so I'm not convinced thats the problem.
Maybe it is just a matter of bending the tab?
Hey all,
In the process of installing my p400. Got my injection pump in and went to install the water pump when i noticed it didn't seem to fit up right, luckily i was paying enough attention to see this.
I already had my other 6.5 disassembled so i was unable to check clearances.
Basically...
WarWagon, What type of dyno was this on?
Normally wheel spin is associated with loose straps / improper tie down methods / vehicle placement on rollers improper.
some less practiced or informed dyno operators will loosen straps. it creates more "impressive" results for a dyno printout.
