So i got the cat del. pipe in sounds little better hear the turbo now, prolly do the rest when summer comes. I was wondering if there is a few more little things i can do, like fuel wise or other things, without breaking the bank of course, not like a new tranny or anything. Like i have seen the ppe Ported Fuel Rail Fitting, CP3 Pump Inlet Fitting, the shim kit. Anybody done any of these things, good/bad.

Until you are running big power and need added fuel, those mods won't make any difference.

Have you sleeved and braced your front end yet? While not a performance mod, they are cheap insurance if you offroad or launch in 4wd.

Gauges are a "must have" as well, IMO.

Sleeves sound like a good idea, seen some S.S. for around a 100 bucks, got gauges on tuner dont have pyros in yet tho.

Now about that pump plate, i have looked around and people say kennedy has one for 50 bucks, but i do not see it on there website.

We have some nice SS sleeves available if you are interested.

Al the first step is to not let idiots work on your truck. But even if they are that dumb you should still buy them lunch for letting you use their shop. Haha didnt know you were on here good to see ya.

Jim's sleeves are nice. They're the ones I have on my truck. Or If Collin really is serious about selling his truck after I get the tranny rebuilt this weekend maybe we could rob his. His are my really old ones from Crank It Up Diesel. Nothing wrong with them. i just replaced them with the ones from Jim because they were shinier and collin needed a set cheap.

If you want a set send Jim a pm or I can give you his number too. He answers from time to time.

The pump rub kit from kennedy is great. If you order it tomorrow it will be here friday and i should have time to help you with it this weekend. I have all of the sealant and everything needed all you need is the plate.

If you want a PPE Race Valve I have one sitting on my shelf in the shop. It was for Brads truck but he never showed up for it. Like others said it probably wont help much right now, but it might down the road and I have no use for it.

And im usually back under a truck or tractor when you call back. Or my phone just doesnt get the call.

However were putting in a cell phone repeater soon which should help.

Ya vinny, your the only real diesel guy aroung here who i would let work on my truck anyways, (helps when your 2mins away), just trying to get some ideas off of here.

Will have to ask collin if he wants them or not when your done, im sure if he is still selling it he wouldnt mind, pm gmclbz see what hes got for a price, and prolly look into the pump rub kit in the next month or so.

anybody else got ideas shoot them out
