Does it have provisions for ripper teeth ?
Might want to add that onto it if it does not. Unless You will be using it in just dirt.
For doing gravel roads though, ripper teeth helps bust up the hard high spots so they can be drug to the lows.
Nice clean unit it appears. Doesnt look like it ever was used.

WTF is hardfacing?
I lifted it out of the trailer and saw the bottom for the first time. Was wondering where the middle scarifier was and they had installed upside down.
I will get plenty of use from this on the Fullerton property.

Hardfacing is special welding rod/wire that is extra hard and used to keep metal from being eroded away by dirt, gravel,etc.

More of joke. I would not expect you to ever have enough wear from the dirt on the metal to justify doing it.
It is some of the most monotonous and annoying welding one can do. But it is good for learning how to weld straight.
All the weld pattern you see here is to trap in soil and make dirt wear against dirt rather than dirt wearing away the steel

Hard surface rod I purchase uses an AC welder.
I’m sure that there is DC HS rod out there but I have no need for that, being my old welder is AC only.
There too is hard surface wire but I dont think that My little 110 volt Hobart 135 would have enough push to get it through the spools and out the hose.
That HS wire is mighty stiff.

When I was in jr high & high school I worked some nights, weekends & summers.
I burned hardfacing wire & rod by the ton. Vegas always growing and so much caliche out here that our dirt absolutely destroys equipment. I got so good with the wire feed I could run mine at 220amps with no preheat and stack it almost 1/2” high. But man, talk about horrible splatter when there was a hiccup!
A guy I worked with had one of the earliest auto darkening hoods- that of course failed him. He has a blind spot center of both eyes now that is like your fist 18” away from you. It took me decades before I finally bought an auto hood. To this day if someone starts welding in a YouTube video I nod my head before he strikes. Haha

My hood is the old large window Fiber Metal unit.
I installed one of those, IIRC, Phantom autodarkening lenses.
It has not yet failed My, other than if the battery goes dead, or, I forget to tap the button before hanging it on my head.
It automatically reverts to tue darkest shade when it is not activated.
Before I got this auto darkening window, I too worried about the pause taking away my vision.
About 30 years and so phar all is good.

Got the box grader on and did a little bit of grading along side the house where the fence is out. I will need to build up a slope away from the house. Also need to get rid of that raised bed garden my wife had to have because she was going to grow stuff with the grandkids. They never had an interest and it now sits unused and just grows weeds.

My son has a box grader for His tractor.
There is three or four ripper teeth arranged on that device.
His driveway is about a 1/3 of a mile long. It gets quite rough at times.
On goes the box blade with the teeths down, gets the road riled up quite nicely then lifts the teeths and finished smoothing out the road bed.

This one has five “teeth”. The center one does not stay in for some reason. I have to hunt for it now.WAIT A MINUTE- I thought weed was a profitable crop in California?
I will need the ripper teeth to knock down high spots in the yard.
