Picked up an 98 1500 sle 4x4 6.5 yesterday. 1000 km 14 hr round trip
210 km on it,nice clean body ,no rust. all stock
Guy wanted 6 grand, got him chewed down to 4.5.

I had no issues pulling it home with my 98,..was kinda hard on fuel though,...it went trough 200 ltr diesel

Wel maintained?,...not to sure....no maintenance records at all! :skep:
broke dr side outside doorhandle.
leaking oil cooler hoses(what else is new :rolleyes5:)
PMD bolted to a piece of 1/8" tin laying loose on the valve cover.
EGR effed up and a few other minor things.
Engine is leakfree and runs good.

Body is really nice though(most important), and its got brandnew rubbers.
Wife's happy though and that matters...a lot!;)
She wants ..mods...:WTF:

PS, i did let her do the haggling with the owner,...wonder who she learned it from?:hihi:

Les,yes,..Edmonton find

nice lloking truck! timeless color too, looks good then, now, and later.

that PMD is just a tick worse than on my e-bay truck. mine was a little plate of aluminum, and it was bolted to the intake.

Looks solid from the pics. Almost a grand worth of new tires too..

Wifey probably knows more about a 6.5 than the previous owner..lol.

thanks,Yes it is a nice truck
It prob been highway only, clean as a whistle underneath, even the exhaust is still shiny.
No cracks in the windshield either...yet.

Looks great Simon!!! Why'd you take the trailer? Might have been cheaper in fuel to just drive it back, lol. Although with an unknown 6.5 it probably was a better idea to trailer it home, lol...

My wife had a bad case of frozen shoulder a couple years ago,it never healed all the way and her shoulders start hurting after she drives for an hour steady.
That's why i trailered it.
