Why is my hose FLAT?

After take pictures for Mike on the TCM. My buddy noticed this:

Your coolant cap is crudded up. You can either try to clean it, or replace it.

I tried the cleaning route on my LLY when it did this, and ended up simply replacing the cap.

Try putting the cap in the dishwasher... it should fix the problem
