Wholesaler closeouts for your 199x GMC K2500 PICKUP

Ha! You wrote this at the same time I wrote a response on the ot you wrote this at the same time I wrote a response on the roller thread her thread.

The problem is all of their cross reference info is incomplete. I've seen where a starter showed up for a 95 model but not a 96 model. When it comes to my hummer it's crazy bad, but I get it.

I just ordered a turn signal switch for it did they show not available. I know the column was originally 1977 Ford LTD 2, also showing unavailable. So I look up a 1983 Ford escort, which Got it's column from the LTD 2. In stock, at a good price. I gave them this information when my first when were out in stock, at a good price. I gave them this information when my first one Broke years ago.

I get the feeling the decision makers don't linen to customer request. My complaints are addressed when there is a problem with parts paid for, but a large Hummer community has tried getting a response for years un answered on similar requests.

Not bashing, I'm obviously a customer...
Does rock auto read these threads?

There are a few fuel filters for the 98, would those work on my 97? Also they say for vin S, but I have F. They're dang cheap.

I just looked at them, some people don't like that style as well as the metal top ones with the separate locking ring. I have had no experience with them.

If you look up your vehicle it will list the wholesaler closeouts in the individual section. IE engine, electrical, etc

I've used them all, they are all fine. Just look for timing tabs at the top or you can't get the lid on right. If anyone messes up and throws away the reuseable ring, Leroy sells replacements. I asked a Baldwin engineer one time on shelf life of filters, because I'm in the heat and things don't last as long. He said if they are sealed in plastic, about 50 years. If they are vacuum sealed they should be good for a couple hundred. By bulk and save the $.

I should have bought some 50yrs ago for .10cents they'd still be good..LOL

Ah yes, the 1966 6.5 diesel- haha

I thought I was ahead of the game once when I bought a 24 pack case of oil filters, 6 air & 6 fuel filters for a Saturn we bought. My wife got tboned in drivers side by a olds delta 88 doing 60. Other than 15 staples in the side of her head from broken glass cut she was fine, but moved up to a suburban. Those filters went away at a loss.
