my Banks exhaust came with the bung installed already, in the down pipe about 18 inches after the turbo. I can see why youd want to see pre-turbo temp, however post turbo is going to read high too if it's getting too hot. Plus, what if there were a temp issue with the turbo, that you couldn't onitor with a pre-turbo gauge? Don't know if that even makes sense. I think I like monitoring the whole system. I'm going to re-install my new one in the same place. Gale Banks has to know something about diesel exhaust temps.
