I don't recall the story behind it, that pics was from early days at Place, one would have to dig deep to get the story, I just started collecting pics once so guys when they asked "what would happen if, or what does a bad block look like" I'd have something for show & tell
 
I had a 96 throw a rod threw the oil pan... I guess I shoulda got some pictures, to mad to think about it at the time.. sitting with my gooseneck along the interstate...
 
Wow, those really put my melted piston pics to shame. Any with melted rocker arm buttons? I have some of those.
 
I know this isnt what your looking for.. but this is the only pic I have I think.. tore down and parted out the truck... its was 1 1996 with 14xK on it... worked hard and beat.. wasnt worth a new motor to me... trans was also on its way out... with no oil it still restarted and drove it self onto my gooseneck and off my gooseneck back on the farm..
