What RPM with 285s?

I'm trying to figure out if I have the speedometer set correctly with my Predator. At 65 I'm turning right at 2000. My friend in his 03 with 285s says he doesn't get to 2K til he was running 76mph. His is reset with the Bullydog Power pup.

with efi live and there calc i have 70 mph at 2000 rpm. i have verified with a tech 2 prior to efi live and against my wifes equinox.

I don't hit 2000 rpm until about 76-80mph with my 285s. Speedo is corrected with efi and checked against my gps and police radar.

Here is an interesting thing i found out about the speedometer/odemeter when i put on my new 285/75/16 BFGs. see the pics;
1. first one is stock tires no adjustment on the speedo with the predator (hmm, off 3MPH from the factory)
2. second pic is with the bigger tires and no speedo adjustment
3. last pic is with the 285/75/16 tires and adjusted the predator to tire size of 285/65/16 to get it right with the GPS

You can see the tach a couple of the pics

I wonder why the variation between the trucks then. Both trucks are practically identical(cab and bed config, both with 16x8 wheels and 285s) other then his is an 03 and mine is an 04.5.

I set my Predator for 285/75/16s, do you think I ought to switch to 285/65/16s?

now that is just plain freaky...

I have the exact same GPS and performed the test same as you for my 285 Revo's...except now I have 265 E Revo's

I went and borrowed a friends Garmin GPS thing and checked the speed. At 285/75s I was reading a couple MPH slow on the dash IIRC. With 285/65s is was just the opposite of the 285/75s. I set it at 285/70/16 and it was dead nuts on.
