What is considered high mileage on 01-04's?

What is considered high mileage on the 01-04 model Duramaxes? Specifically the 4X4s. Looking at used ones and would like to know where to draw the line as far as mileage?:noidea: I do understand that regular maint does come into play. So lets just say that all regular maint was done when it should have been done. Thanks in advance for all the replies.
 
Biggest issues is the Injectors and headgaskets. And the tranny if it has been abused.

I wouldn't personally but anything over 150K for my daily driver.
 
injectors, head gaskets, trans problems. under 200k would be the highest i would go for a DD.
 
well I have 277k on mine, other than needing a set of injectors it is a good truck
 
Just called on a C2500HD D/A 2wd RCLB (no bed) 04 (IDK if LB7 or LLY) said nothing but road miles, super clean. pic showed still black frame rails, nice bright, clean white paint. It had 300K, car lot wants 5,500 bucks.

Of course it didn't specify tranny, so i had to call to see if it was a ZF6! as you can see by sig, i kinda prefer my manuals! :D
 
Mine just crossed 100K with nothing other then maintenance. They are good engines, but I agree with these guys, no more then 200K for a DD.

Wow, sorry i haven't been on earlier! Sounds like you two are just itching for it, when I get back to the room I'll put up the info from the local for sale paper.

Im kind of interested, and yes it would be nice, but my love is for the ZF6, so i might as well let someone else have this one.
 
Thanks for all the replies, looking to get rid of my 05 gassser when I get back (currently in Korea on a remote tour) and a new duramax is out of the question so figured I could find a decent 01-04 without much cash out of pocket on a trade in. Just didn't know where I should draw the line for mileage. Thanks for all the help.
