What would a 2007 3/4 ton Mega Cab 5.9L Cummins have behind it? The 48RE? This is a 4 speed right? How is this holding up to moderate power upgrades? Anything like the transgo jr. for it?

an 07 with the 5.9 in it? Get it just before the switch to the 6.7? The old 5.9 uses the 48RE which is a 5spd IIRC. However, I could be mistaken and it could work similar to the 4l8oe and use 4spd with torque lockup as the 5th gear. I'm not sure reguarding max power and kits for it. Try giving suncoast a call. Thats your best bet

03-07 5.9 use 48.
07.5+ with the 6.7 use the 68
Be nice on the power and 4x4 launching with a stock input shaft.
