Ok It's the truck in the sig. ran into a couple of strange issues

1)lost delay and park for wipers.
2)lost back up lights
3)can leave truck in reverse and the engine stays running until you take it out.

my question is, Do any of the things share a part that eludes me??

the back up lights and the IP power have got me stumped.

I'm guessing something to do with the neutral safety switch. NSBU is combined on the Allisons and may be on your body style too. What the wipers have to do with it is a wierd one but then again I've seen other wierd shit like you can't read a code without a good cig lighter fuse on a GM 800.

the catch to it is the is no neutral safety anymore. lost it when I changer over to a stick shift. I'm starting to wonder if it's if the column wiring mess. it's the only spot I can think of.

the back up switch is basically a push button on the side of the transmission.

X3 on steering column. I would venture to say the loss of backup lights is related to not being able to shut off the truck when in reverse.

well got it sorted out today. I wasn't the back up light itself. turns out it was part from the old automatic transmission. it was the switch for the TC lock/unlock(brake pedal). I had removed the what I thought was part of the DRL system must have been part of the transmission setup. the fuses were never taken out. as for the backup lights turns out the ground wire had broken loose. now I've got to put it all back together. mind you, now I have a half dozen less wires in there.
